2020 - Day 15: Staying Connected

Updated: Jan 21, 2020

Just as an electric circuit must be connected from start to finish in order to work, making the final connection with the heart in prayer is essential.

By simply flipping a switch, an entire house or building receives the power necessary to illuminate every light, operate every appliance, as well send power to every outlet. This is accomplished when the power source and its intended use are brought together and are properly connected.

The one of the ways to properly connect with someone is communication. From the beginning of time, communication along with a clear understanding are essential keys to successful relationships. Prayer is our connection with God.

Praise, Worship, Devotion, and Meditation are all elements of Prayer. You cannot do any of the aforementioned without engaging in the act of communication with God. It is when we not only do these things, but then open are hearts, that a proper connection is made. A closed heart repels, and open heart receives.

It is with an open heart, that God then communicates back to us. It is with an open heart, that we receive correction and direction. It is with an open heart, that we truly comprehend that his ways lead us to a fullness of life.

Make that connection today, open your heart, and receive His power that will flow into every area of your life.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Enjoy your day!
