One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples." Luke 11:1

 

I commend this disciple for asking the question, for now we have instructions from Jesus’ himself on how to communicate effectively with God and get results!

 

As we approach Resurrection Sunday and The Day Pentecost, I ask you to join me in prayer for the next 70 days. (By the time you receive this, I have already started praying for you!)

 

In Mathew 26:36-45, as Jesus went to pray, each time he returned, he found His disciples sleeping. Waking them up He asks a question: “Can you stay awake for one hour and pray with me? As we pray together and for each other over the next 69 days (April 1 - June 8), It is my hope that you will experience:

 

An awakening in your spirit; 

 

Your heart throughly cleansed & Your mind completely renewed :

 

Your relationship with God strengthened and your commitment to Soul Winning and Service to His church invigorated:

 

Peace that surpasses your understanding, Joy Unspeakable and Full of Glory,

Life more abundantly and Love that NEVER FAILS!l
