Selfish
"Selfishness contaminates our motives for doing just about anything. James says in “For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing.”I don’t condone the actions of the young 25 year old reservist that ambushed the Dallas Officers this past week… For officers are people with families and loved ones just like us. 26 Officers have lost their lives in gun related incidents…. 7 just this month… They are Fathers, Mothers, sons and daughters, uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews, friends and coworkers and yes even church members…. It is sad that a job that many have taken because they wanted to make change has turned into a culture that from its propaganda states to protect and serve, but molds the mind and spirit and view their constituents and yes employers (because your tax dollars pays for it) as an enemy instead of a friend. It is a sad state of affairs, when the country will mourn the loss of 5 officers lives in an ambush, yet bury the reality that this year 609 lives were snuffed out by the bullet of an officer. One culture forgives while another culture forgets. One culture goes free while another culture is in prison, one culture is sworn to tell the truth, while the other culture is legally allowed to lie……but if we can break this vicious cycle of being literally brain washed by what the media pumps out, if we can get past the deceptive practices of our law makers, if we can stop focusing on Hillary’s emails and Trumps bankruptcies and see the truth that there is no Black, White, Brown or Blue… because underneath your uniform and underneath your skin, beyond your pocketbook, and under your title… we all have one thing in common we all bleed RED!"
